Changing the DPI Setting on the Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mouse

Hi, maybe you can tell how to change DPI setting on this mouse?

Hi Alfredo,
Acording to the SPECS & DETAILS on logitech.com, the MX Anywhere 2 Mouse is set to 1000 DPI but has a range between 400 and 1600 dpi and can be set in increments of 200 dpi. They don’t really make it clear how to do this but it looks like it can be set using the Logictech Options software. I installed the software on both my Mac and PC to check it out, and they don’t have a setting marked DPI but have sliders for pointer speed and scrolling speed.

On Windows 7, the pointer speed slider seemed to move in 6 increments. So I assume that is six 200 DPI increments between 400 DPI and 1600 DPI. On the Mac, the slider seems to move it much smaller / smoother increments. The Options software doesn’t display any indication as to what the DPI is set to.

I also tried installing Logitech’s Gaming software on Windows 7 to see if I could explicitly set the DPI but the software did not recognize the MX Anywhere 2.

Finally, I’d add that even though I adjusted the pointer speed on both my Mac and PC I can’t say I really noticed a big difference.

I hope this helps.

    1. Hi Alfredo,
Those are the instructions for the MX Master, my video was about the MX Anywhere 2. Different Mouse. I don’t have those options in the Options software for my mouse.
