I have a new Apple M1 Mac mini which is a great computer but I find I need to use headphones with the computer all the time becuase the built-in speaker is really poor. I don’t mind using headphones but because the headphone jack is on the back of the Mac Mini the my headphone cords are not long enough to plug in and use the headphones comfortably. These cables with also work great with the MacBook Pro and other Macs as well.
So I picked up a a Cable Matters 2-Pack Headphone 6FT Extension Cables to give me some extra cable when usig my headphones.

So far these cables have been great. If been using it with my Koss KPH-30i headphones.
These cables are 6ft long. The cables have a 3.5mm male TRRS connector on the end that plugs into the Mac mini and a 3.5mm TRRS female jack on the other end that I plug my headphones into.
If you want to headset or headphones with a built in microphone like the Koss KPH-30i headphones you want to make sure you buy a TRRS cable and not a TRS cable. If you buy a TRS extension cable your headphones will work but not the microphone.
The cable seem well made. The cable itself is black and silver braided. The connectors on each end are metallic silver colored. I would have preferred all black cables myself but at two cables for $10 this was a good deal.
I also picked up a 10ft pair of the same cables to use with an external microphone for my iPhone.
